Welcome! My name is Alexandra Wright and I am slightly obsessed with labor and employment law. I started practicing law at a firm in Phoenix, Arizona in September 2009, but my fascination with labor and employment law began in 2010 when Arizona residents passed Proposition 203 – a ballot initiative to legalize the use of medical marijuana. I reviewed the law and prepared to speak with the firm’s labor and employment clients about how the law would interact with other laws and voila! My career in labor and employment law was born. Since September 2013, I have since relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where I continue to practice labor and employment law.
So, now that you know about me, an important disclaimer: Nothing on this site is intended to be legal advice, nor does any communication you might have with me constitute an attorney-client relationship. I am simply here to share information that I find interesting, and hope that you learn something new, too! Of course, you can always reach out to me if you have any questions [and I will give you the same disclaimers before I answer them] or want to share any tidbits of your own.
